The Peter Medawar Building hosts a large number of DPhil students, who play an active role in the building's research community.

We are a diverse range of groups united by our interests in infection, immunology and global health. We have expertise ranging from clinical practice to mathematical modelling and in vitro laboratory work, and a wide network of local, national and international collaborations. We are active in supporting applications for DPhil and other post graduate funding, and usually have approximately 20-30 DPhil students based wholly or partly in the building.

Every year, there are funding opportunities for DPhil and other post-graduate courses and for post-doctoral fellowships. The links provided below are intended to help guide you to further information about applications for funding. You are also advised to contact the PI of any particular groups that you are interested in joining.

Individual websites provide details regarding deadlines, but most of these are advertised on an annual cycle. Internal advertisements and awards are normally in December/January.
