Led by Professor Kevin Marsh and Dr Anne Makena, the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) supports a wide range of activities including a travel grant scheme, acting as a resource to facilitate major funding applications, supporting high quality meetings and providing academic and mentorship support to African students and research staff in Oxford. AfOx supports the development of new collaborations with African institutions in all academic disciplines including global health. We currently work with colleagues in 36 countries across Africa.
