The Peter Medawar Building: Bringing new insights into host-pathogen interactions and accelerating improved health outcomes
Welcome to the Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research (PMB) website.
Our building houses an inter-disciplinary research consortium, from both the Medical Sciences Division and the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division, which investigates pathogen diversity through a combination of experimental and theoretical approaches. There are 3 major strands to the work which are closely integrated: Pathogen biology, Host immune responses and Mathematical biology.
