Programme Manager for the NIHR-funded Genomics to Enhance Microbiology Screening Blood and Transplant Research Unit

Romisa is a Programme Manager for the NIHR-funded Genomics to Enhance Microbiology Screening Blood and Transplant Research Unit, managing multidisciplinary projects with Oxford and UCL teams. She has a background in microbiology training at UKHSA and extensive experience leading biotechnology trials, including securing the first open-field approval of a GM agricultural insect in Morocco. She is also a qualified teacher and Mental Health First Aider based at the Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research.
