I am a DPhil student in Clinical Medicine in Dr Azim Ansari’s group. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Saudi Arabia and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the United States, with laboratory-based clinical training and population-based epidemiological research experience. My research focuses on the application of bioinformatics and statistical genetics approaches to large-scale host and pathogen genomic data to reveal novel insights into how host–pathogen genomic interactions shape clinical outcomes.
