Chanice Knight
Research Scientist
In 2019 Chanice graduated a Masters of Research degree at the University of Bristol focusing on innate and adaptive immune responses to H1N1 influenza A virus. After this she worked as a research scientist at the University of Bristol focusing on CD8+ T cells and interferon stimulating genes. Drawing on her interests in clinical research, Chanice accepted a position as a Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, where she worked as part of the Vaccine Task Force. Chanice has been working on SARS-CoV-2 neutralising antibody responses since 2020, a topic which she has continued at the Nuffield Department of Medicine in the Simmonds Group. Her interests and expertise are immunofluorescent histology, confocal microscopy, live virus neutralisation assays, ACDP Containment level 3 trainer, virology and immunology.
