Dan Coneyworth
Research Assistant
After completing his undergraduate degree in Human genetics from The University of Nottingham, I began working for Cellmark Forensics as an interpretation scientist. This involved the interpretation of DNA profiles, for both the police and for relationship testing.
In 2018 Dan began working as a research assistant at MRC Harwell, working within the genotyping team. His main role was to design and run qPCR assays to detect novel mouse mutants.
In 2021 Dan moved to the PMB where he currently works as a research assistant for the Frater group. His work involves using an 'in house' microfluids platform to sequester both cells and DNA into droplets for downstream applications.
