I am a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Wang Group (Healthcare Data Science and Intelligence Lab). My work centres on developing machine learning, natural language processing, and large language model approaches to extract structured clinical insights from radiology report texts, enabling fine-grained phenotyping and improved modelling of liver disease progression in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

I trained in Physics (MSci, UCL) before completing a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Leicester, where I developed deep learning methods for automated ischaemic stroke subtype classification using routinely collected healthcare data. This work established my broader research focus on translating unstructured and multimodal clinical data into robust predictive tools.

I have also worked as a machine learning algorithm developer in industry and co-founded an early-stage health technology venture focused on ultrasound-enabled clinical research.
